Pumpkins – Not just for Halloween


Pumpkins contain alpha- and beta-carotene, fiber, potassium, Omega 3 fatty acid and vitamin C.  As a versatile vegetable it can be roasted, made into to soups, savory and sweet pies.


If pumpkin carving is part of your family tradition why not take it one step further this year, don’t throw all that goodness away, make something healthy and tasty instead.
